With a three-decade career spanning the public and non-profit sectors, I step in to help organizations navigate complex government relations, secure vital funding, and manage critical transitions. My approach is rooted in a simple but highly effective framework: policy, planning, and passion. I work alongside leadership teams to build clear, actionable roadmaps that move projects from the planning phase to the finish line.

My background is built on real-world execution. Having served as a Chief of Staff in the New York State Assembly, I know exactly how to cut through state red tape, align local initiatives with state priorities, and build bipartisan support. In the executive space, I have guided multi-site operations, managed both small- and large-scale grants, and led organizations through significant growth and crisis—from mobilizing disaster responses as Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Northern New York, to directing operations administration for The Neighborhood Center in Utica, and overseeing regional preservation efforts as Executive Director of the Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust, .

Rather than offering cookie-cutter consulting packages, I provide fractional, senior-level leadership exactly when and how you need it. Whether you are a local municipality dealing with community stakeholder friction, or a non-profit board navigating a sudden leadership shift, I act as your seasoned point person.

Beyond the Boardroom

When I am not advising clients, I am deeply invested in the community of Sackets Harbor and the greater Northern New York region. I currently serve as the President of the Sackets Harbor Battlefield Alliance—a volunteer "friends group" working in close partnership with State Parks personnel to protect our historic assets—and as Vice President of the Thompson Park Conservancy, which manages Zoo New York in Watertown.

I am a staunch advocate for historic preservation, and I am particularly passionate about the "Modern Chautauqua" movement—the idea of turning our local villages into interactive cultural and intellectual hubs. When I am off the clock, you will likely find me listening to an American history audiobook, tracking the latest Bruce Springsteen tour setlists, or learning Italian on Duolingo.
